The 79th Commencement of the Ludington High School was held on June 7, 1956 at 8:00 PM in the Junior High Gymnasium (Now the Ludington Senior High School) Titled; "In This End Is Our Beginning".

The Commencement Address was given by Dr. Victor F. Spathelf, President of Ferris Institute (Now Ferris State University).

The Presentation of the Class was made by Mr. Oliver DeJonge Superintendent of Ludington Public Schools.

Distribution of Diplomas was done by Mr. Howard L. Hawley, President of the Board of Education.

Valedictorian: Robert G. Kotecki

Salutatorian: Nancy Lorraine Maine

Class Colors: Azure Blue and White

Class Flower: Crimson Rose

Class Motto: "NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HE CAN DO 'TIL HE TRIES"
